Jumanji Festival: Creative Content Solution
Australia has a history of failed hip hop festivals. From cancellations, to artist no shows and everything in between, live hip hop and Australia hasn’t haven’t exactly been the best of friends.
When the inaugural Jumanji Festival was announced by unfamiliar promoters in early 2018, it’s too-good-to-be-true line up (including Lil Wayne, Tyga, Wale and Metro Boomin) was met with scepticism from the Australian public.
I was engaged to provide a creative content solution that would help lend legitimacy to the festival and encourage the general public to buy tickets. Together with Video Director Oriel Guthrie, we developed a content solution that presented Jumanji Festival as a premiere music festival with an unbeatable line up.
This content solution included providing weekly social media calendars and a first class series of video packages, reaching over 2m people across Facebook and Instagram and generating 700,000 video views across all platforms.
